Monmouth Park in Oceanport, NJ

This popular summer racing location was
originally opened on July 4, 1870 in Long Branch, NJ.
It was rebuilt in 1946 at the present location.
Distance = 1 Mile w/6f and 1 1/4 mi chutes, Stretch = 985 feet (last turn to finish)
 Seating capacity is 18,000. Record attendance was more than 53,000.
