originally opened on August 2, 1864.
Distance = 1 1/8 Mile w/7f chute, Stretch = 1144 feet (last turn to finish)
Also has 2 turf courses used for occasional steeplechase racing.
 Seating capacity is 10,000 plus 12000 benches outside. Total capacity 65,000.
